for me the piece "venice" is lyrical, musical, fluid and has a wonderful feel to it that conveys something unique - a great "translation" - i feel i'm travelling through. it is a shame that photos posted on the internet never quite convey the piece itself - for example, we lose so much of the translucency of layers or finer mark making etc. i wish you well with your work. i also particularly like red flower. you show in your work a sensitivity to form and colour and composition... god luck with your work - from elena
